This award was established in 1987 to honor Paul Smith, a dedicated member of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Advisory Board. It is designed to assist high school senior littles who plan to continue their education after graduation. This would include college, trade school, beauty school or other vocational pursuit beyond the high school level. The number and amounts (up to $1,000) of scholarships awarded will be determined by the number of qualified applicants.

This award was established in 2014 to honor Michael Costanza, a dedicated member and president emeritus of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Advisory Board. In addition to his involvement with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Mr. Costanza, was extensively committed to youth development through Boy Scouts, Rotary, coaching at the local youth center and more. The scholarship is designed to assist high school senior or college student Bigs who emulate the selfless qualities of Michael Constanza who plan to continue their education after graduation. This would include college, trade school, beauty school or other vocational pursuits beyond the high school level. Scholarships of $250 – $1000 are available. The number and amount awarded will be determined by the number of qualified nominees.

This award was established in March 2021. This scholarship is designated to assist Lycoming County previous Littles and high school Bigs that have been accepted in a post-secondary institution of higher education or are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
