Your support ensures that Big Brothers Big Sisters continues the important mentoring work that we’ve been performing in Northeast Pennsylvania since 1974. Research has proven that having a Big Brother or Big Sister helps children avoid drug and alcohol abuse, do better in school, get along with others and gain self-confidence.
For about $1,200 a year, we can match a Big Brother, Big Sister or couple to a child for one year. Your support allows us to recruit, screen, train and match Big Brothers and Big Sisters with the children on the waiting list.
